2026 Boryeong Mud Festival Opens July 24

Korea's signature summer festival, the 29th Boryeong Mud Festival, runs for 17 days (July 24–August 9) at Daecheon Beach in Boryeong, South Chungcheong. Popular with foreign visitors, it features mud experiences and giant slides by day, and K-pop/trot concerts with fireworks by night. Weekday hours are 1–6 PM, weekend hours 10 AM–6 PM; a wristband is required for the experience zones. A great option for workers or students planning summer vacation.
