H-2 & F-4 Visas Merged into One 'Compatriot Residence' Status

Since February 12, 2026, the visit employment visa (H-2) and overseas Korean visa (F-4) have been integrated into a single 'compatriot residence' category. If you hold either visa, check the updated rules — your work scope and stay conditions may have changed. Visit HiKorea or your local immigration office for details. ※ For details, consulting with a licensed administrative agent (행정사) is recommended.
