Korea Opens 3rd Round of E-9 Foreign Worker Employment Permits for 2026
고용노동부가 2026년도 3회차 외국인근로자(E-9) 신규 고용허가 신청을 8월 6일부터 20일까지 접수합니다.
Korea's Ministry of Employment and Labor will accept applications for the 3rd round of 2026 E-9 (non-professional employment) permits from August 6-20. This round allocates 12,630 slots: manufacturing (9,020), agriculture/livestock (1,906), fishing (1,196), construction (394), and services (114). Results are announced August 4; permits are issued August 5-11 (manufacturing/mining) or August 12-19 (other sectors). Employers must complete a 7-day domestic recruitment effort before applying via Work24 or local labor offices.
