Construction E-9 Workers: Moves Between Same-Employer Sites Now Unrestricted

1. Applications for the 4th round of E-9 (non-professional employment, 고용허가제) permits are open Sep 14–29.

2. Starting this round, the restriction on construction E-9 workers moving between workplaces has reportedly been lifted.

3. Workers can move freely to other sites run by the same employer.

4. Changing to a different employer is a separate process, so check with your Employment Center.

5. If your site changes, confirm that your work location, pay, and housing match your contract.
