Visa/Admin — New 'K-CORE Visa' for International Graduates
행정·비자 — 유학생용 'K-CORE 비자' 신설
Korea's Ministry of Justice has introduced the "K-CORE visa" for international students who complete manufacturing-related programs at vocational colleges (auto repair, precision machinery, etc.) and then take jobs at regional companies. 16 colleges are currently designated as pilot "specialized technical programs." Students with TOPIK Level 3+ are exempt from the D-2 study visa financial requirement, and part-time work hours have increased from 30 to 35 hours/week. Especially useful for students aiming for jobs at regional manufacturers. ※ For details, consulting with a licensed administrative agent (행정사) is recommended.
